Incident at Kingston Bridge.

At approximately 04:43 hrs on Sunday, 2 August 2026, emergency services were dispatched to Kingston Bridge, Kingston, following reports of an adult male jumping from the structure. 

Responding officers located the male on the steps adjacent to the riverside area, where he had sustained serious injuries.

Responding police officers delivered emergency first aid and CPR on scene. The London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance attended the location shortly thereafter.

The male was transported to the hospital for urgent medical treatment. His condition remains unknown at this stage.

Investigation Update

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

There is currently no indication of third-party involvement, and the matter is being treated as a vulnerable person incident.

 An active police scene remains in place on the Kingston Bridge footway and the surrounding riverside area while investigations continue.

Temporary pedestrian and access restrictions remain active. Partners should be aware of potential local disruption in the immediate vicinity while enquiries are completed.
